The creator's share
Other sites report that YouTube pays the creator about 70% of a Super Chat, a Super Sticker or a membership after sales tax and app-store fees, and keeps about 30%. So a $10.00 Super Chat bought on the web with no sales tax brings the creator about $7.00 at most.
YouTube's own viewer pages say only that creators receive the majority of Super Chat and Super Sticker revenue, so the calculator marks the share as reported and lets you change it.
Taxes and app-store fees
Other sites report that sales tax comes off first, then the app store's fee when the Super Chat was bought in the iPhone app, and that the share applies to what is left. YouTube's pages we saved do not say this. The calculator starts with no tax and a purchase on the web, so its answer is the most a creator may keep.
Limits and other platforms
In general a viewer can spend up to $500 a day and $2,000 a week on Super Chats, Super Stickers, Super Thanks and Jewels together. For gifts, use the YouTube Jewels calculator; for Twitch subs, the Twitch sub calculator.
