What the streamer gets
Other sites report that Twitch pays the streamer about $0.01 for every Bit cheered in their chat, so 100 Bits would be worth about $1.00 to them. The Twitch help pages we read do not state the figure, so the calculator marks it as reported and lets you change it. In other currencies it converts at the day's exchange rate.
Bits are not the only income of a channel. Subs pay a share of a monthly price: see the Twitch sub calculator.
What viewers pay
Viewers buy Bits in packs, and the price depends on where and how they buy. In the US App Store the smallest pack holds 95 Bits for $1.99, and bigger packs cost a little less per Bit. Each country's App Store sets its own prices in its own currency.
Twitch shows its website prices only to viewers who are signed in. Other sites report about $1.40 for 100 Bits there.
Bits have no monetary value of their own and cannot be exchanged back for money. Everything on this page estimates what a streamer earns or what a viewer pays.
Subs and other platforms
A sub's price differs by country, and so does what it pays the streamer: compare all countries in the Twitch sub price by country table. For TikTok coins, use the TikTok coin calculator.
